Personality: He has a weird sense of humor and is extremely indecisive. Instead of picking a side in the epic Ninja vs Pirate debate, he went with both. He also likes hitting on both men and women because of his homogeneous physique. That might be why no one has ever really seen what was underneath that hat and mask.

There's nothing too interesting about his past though. Sure his indecision has gotten him into a lot of trouble, but he lives a pretty care free life wandering the country. Many people call him "Wokou" for a lack of a better term to name a ninja-pirate. Perhaps he was too slow to decide whether he should tell his real name or not, so instead he just let the populace call him as they wish. Some people do wonder why he likes to wear his bright orange happi. Are they blue flames or waves? Who knows!

Weaponry: Just for clarification sake, his weaponry is not necessarily on fire whenever he fights. It's just like an added bonus to keeping close-combat fighters away. The holes in the top make it easier to pour gas into so that it could be lit and waved around like...well...a meteor!
